Hi HDR-Fans, =P

Maybe there are still people out there who already know me from my last HDR-Clip Running Clouds.

The last time, when I submitted my HDR stopmotion "Running Clouds" I was so stunned by the feedback I got! Therefore I want to thank all of you for the support and the constructive critism! That was so amazing and motivating for me. For this reason I have decided to create a new HDR stopmotion. Here I would like to expresse my gratitude to Shubat for his helpful comment to my last stopmotion movie! Thanks mate!

You wonder how I created this one?

Let me explained to you! First of all, I needed a tripod and a nice sunset with no clouds. Than I took my EOS 350D an took many many many photo series between AV-2 till AV+2 . With many photo series I mean that I took every minute a serie and this about a duration of 145 minutes.

After all, I had 435 photos which had still converted into HDR. That took most of time while creating this short clip since to convert 3 normal photos into HDR take normally between three to four minutes at my PC. Finally I had 145 HDR-Photos. Now I had to resize my photos to 640x480px. Then I put them into Flash.

i really like this, i just started learning hdr photography and it is a lot of fun, but i never would have thought to make it do this.... great job. Do you know much about using a single raw image to make hdr photos? i was reading that is how to get moving shots but i havent tried it yet

As I noticed, that the sun path will cross that twig I removed it ;)

i've been dabbling with HDR but never even thought it could be done well for a movie. but you've done it! this is breathtaking! (still wondering how you did it with motion between the composition photos for the HRD frame)
