As far as I know is this "short" clip is the first HDR-StopMotion movie that the world has seen so far. I hope you are an HDR-Freak like me, so enjoy it like I do in this moment.
You ask yourself how I created this one?
Let me explained to you! First of all, I needed a tripod and a lovely sky with many moving clouds. Than I took my EOS 350D an took many many many photo series between AV-2 till AV+2 . With many photo series I mean that I took every 10 seconds a serie and this about a duration of 10 minutes.
After all, I had 201 photos which had still converted into HDR. That took most of time while creating this short clip since to convert 3 normal photos into HDR take normally between three to four minutes at my PC. Finally I had 67 HDR-Photos. Now I had to resize my photos to 640x480px. Then I put them into Flash.
After these steps, I created this Flash-Movie and excatly at this moment, I am writing this explanation for you during the last 10 minutes.
Puhh... now I am very tired of all this work! I hope you like and enjoy it like my! Oh yes! Before I forget to mention: Comments and Feedback are very desired by my side!
If you don't see this flash on Deviantart.com please tell me where you found this one!
EDIT 01/22/08: Wow I cannot believe it. Meanwhile this deviation has over 1000 views ... nice! Thank you all for this support and above all thank you for the numerous comments on this one!
What file extensions are the original HDRs? What tone mapping technique did you use? Are you using aperture values as opposed to shutter values and why?
man if someone had the time and patiants to shoot like a music video or something like that it would be the most beautiful and amazing thing i have ever seen.... but this is such a wonderful clip that you have made that i could sit here and just stair.... its so wonderful
I like it always when people are wrtiting in their comment expressions like "omg! , woah! , wtf! , holy crap!" etc. that is a good evidence that you really like it! One as a gift for your comment! Thanks!
