great shot.. but..

i think your should return it to its original constraints, the resizing ruins it =(

and maybe some minor work with the curves / contrast and this will be a masterpeice.

I like the colors but I think you need to take into account the height of your subject. You not only need to fit the top of the windmill blades but when you shoot an object like that you need extra room at the top. Why? Because the blades draw your eyes up and if there is not enough negative space, visually you feel like you hit your head on the ceiling. For example [link] this works because of the negative space. This should not work but does because it fades into the mist [link]
But this doesn't work at all and is not very good [link]

First of all thanks for the detailed comment. Yes you're right with the extra room at the top of this photograph. But in this case I wanted to photograph the whole windmill with its blades and the sun down to the right of the photograph. If I gave the windmill more negative space on the top of the windmille there wouldn't be engough down to the right at the sun. So you would have the feeling that your eyes hit the ground :aww:

Therefore I tried to find the middle way between the space on the top and the space on the bottom. ;)

What do you mean with "original constraints"? I didn't change the size of the photograph.

Yeah you're right I should play a little bit with the contrast and curves. It seems that there is a little grey fog who is covering the whole photograph.

oh that is my fault then it looked like the height has been adjusted, it just doesnt look regular to me my friend.

so if thats the actualy size, then just the fog would need fixing, hope to see it after some editing =)

I had a feeling that was what you were going for at the time. :D
But I have to admit that over all, I do like the photo very, very much. It is beautiful and ethereal like a dream.
